❃ Resting along rocky shores and windswept islands, the gray seal is a powerful marine mammal with a distinctive long muzzle and expressive dark eyes. Its thick coat ranges from silvery grey to deep charcoal, often covered in irregular spots and patches that help create a unique pattern on every individual. Built for life in cold northern waters, its streamlined body and strong flippers make it an effortless swimmer beneath the waves.
❃ Beneath the surface, the gray seal is a skilled and agile hunter. It can dive for several minutes at a time, using its sensitive whiskers to detect the subtle movements and vibrations of fish moving through dark or murky water. With powerful jaws and sharp teeth, it catches a varied diet of fish, squid, and other marine prey before returning to the surface to breathe.
❃ Gray seals gather along remote coastlines, sandy beaches, rocky islands, and shallow coastal waters across the North Atlantic. They come ashore to rest, molt, and raise their pups, with mothers caring for their young in crowded breeding colonies. A familiar silhouette of northern shores, the gray seal embodies the quiet strength of the ocean — equally at home on cold beaches and in the dark waters beyond them.

When It Arrives
Your plush travels inside our satchel, and some designs may be vacuum-sealed to keep them protected and compact during their journey. Don’t worry if yours looks a little flattened when first unpacked — the filling is designed to bounce back and simply needs a little time and fluffing to take its full shape.
Bringing it back to form:
1. Remove it from the packaging as soon as it arrives — don’t leave it packed.
2. Give it a good fluff — gently knead the body and work the limbs, wings, ears, or tail to redistribute the filling.
3. Let it breathe. Most plush regain their full shape within 1–3 days, while larger or denser designs can take up to a week.
4. Smooth any flattened or creased fur with your fingers or a soft brush as it fluffs back up.
5. Want to speed things up? Use a hairdryer on low, warm heat, held about 20cm away. Keep it moving and use short bursts between fluffs. Never use high heat.
Plush make this journey every day and naturally bounce back after being unpacked. If yours still isn’t looking like itself after a week, write to us at support@mythicalwoods.com and we’ll make it right.
Care: Spot clean with mild soap. Air dry

It did come a little slow, but it’s super cute!! The one downside I have is that it’s a bit smelly. It smells weird, but it makes sense because it comes from a factory
I've been needing a big one for my collection, and I finally found it. This plushy is extremely soft as well and works great as a pillow or lap pillow.
Although pricey my girlfriend is very happy with the seal (biggest version).
Quality and feel are great.
Can't say anything about longevity yet (now 1/2 month of heavy usage) but I don't see it becoming an issue by the feel of it.
Packaging very much squished the guy along with the other plushies i got, but luckily it didnt damage any of them! I wish it came in much better packaging otherwise the product itself decent quality
It's cute but I think it could have done with more stuffing. It's pleasingly soft but so much so that it sort of loses it's shape. It's not as robust as the photograph suggests.
This was a present for my sister and she basically wouldn't put it down for even a moment after I gave it to her. That should tell ya all you need to know. Came vacuum-sealed which was initially alarming but the sucker swelled up just fine.
