Minor issue with shipping but it only took a couple of emails to resolve. Still very happy with it.

❃ Emerging from the ancient landscapes of North Africa, Arsinoitherium was a bizarre prehistoric herbivore unlike anything alive today. Its bulky, rhino-like body carried two enormous pairs of hollow, cone-shaped horns rising from the front of its skull, while its short legs and heavy frame gave it the appearance of a creature assembled from several different worlds. Living roughly 36–30 million years ago, it belonged to the extinct order Embrithopoda, an ancient group of large herbivorous mammals.
❃ Those extraordinary horns were the animal’s defining feature, but beneath its formidable silhouette was a plant-eater adapted to browsing in the warm wetlands and forests of the ancient Fayum region. Its skull supported powerful jaws and distinctive teeth suited to processing vegetation, while its massive body would have made it an imposing presence among the prehistoric landscapes of what is now Egypt. The horns may have played a role in display, recognition, or competition, although their precise function remains uncertain.
❃ Arsinoitherium disappeared millions of years before humans ever walked the Earth, leaving behind fossilized bones that offer glimpses into a vanished African ecosystem. Though it superficially resembles a rhinoceros, its evolutionary history lies elsewhere, making it one of the strangest branches on the mammalian tree. The Arsinoitherium Prehistoric Soft Stuffed Plush Toy brings this extraordinary horned relic back in a wonderfully gentle form — a reminder of a time when Earth's mammals could take shapes stranger than anything alive today.

The quality of the soft toy is fantastic, I have an autistic son that collects unusual animals for his zoo. We were thrilled to find the website and have such a variety to choose from. This is one of his favourite teddies. It is super soft well-made and sturdy - Particularly for my son who takes him everywhere.

Arsinoitherium :- I"ts diet consisted of leaves, fruits, nuts and seeds ... Its large size meant it was an apex predator in its environment.(Gage Beasley 2025) This seems contradictory. Apex predators are carnivores by definition and so therefore would not be surviving on the diet described by the author. They are all an incredible looking series of animals covering a wide range of taxa form an incredibly wide range of time periods from Ediacaran, Cambrian, and Mesozoic periods to current day. I wish money was no issue as I would buy many many of them. Sadly the range has no dragonflies or weevils and no carnivorous marsupials like quolls or Thylacoleo - carnivorous drop bear like koala relatives.
